Appearance
kitloom
kitloom is a content management system for Laravel that runs on a WordPress database, with Filament as the admin panel. Posts, pages, terms, media, users and options stay in WordPress's own tables and formats; the application is plain Laravel. Every feature is a Composer package with its own Filament section, and an MCP server lets AI agents run the site with the rights of a user.

What it is for
- A new site on Laravel that needs what a content site needs — posts and pages, categories and tags, menus, media, widgets, custom fields, SEO, redirects, contact forms, sliders, comments, a shop, bookings — without writing it.
- A site moving from WordPress. kitloom reads and writes the same rows, in the formats WordPress and its popular plugins use (ACF field groups, Rank Math meta and redirects, Contact Form 7 forms, WooCommerce products and orders). Every permalink keeps working; WordPress can keep running on the database beside it.
- A headless site or an AI-operated one. Every page answers as JSON when asked;
/wp-json/serveswp/v2;/mcplets Claude, Cursor and other agents read and write the site.
Requirements
- PHP 8.4 or newer
- Laravel 13
- Filament 5
- MySQL or MariaDB (an empty database, or an existing WordPress one)
Installation
Kitloom for Filament ships as a starter project plus packages, from a private Composer repository you get after purchase:
bash
composer create-project kitloom/filament-skeleton my-site --repository=https://packages.kitloom.dev --add-repository
cd my-site
npm install && npm run build:themes
php artisan db:seed # the first administrator and demo content
composer run devcreate-project installs the packages, writes .env, generates the key and runs the migrations (SQLite by default; set a MySQL connection in .env for a WordPress database).
Adding kitloom to an existing Laravel application is described at https://kitloom.dev/docs/installation.html#adding-kitloom-to-an-existing-application.
Modules
A module is a Composer package. Install it and its section appears in the Filament panel; the Modules screen switches installed modules off and on, the way WordPress handles plugins. Included with Kitloom for Filament:

| Post Types | Post types and taxonomies declared from the admin |
| SEO | Titles, meta, Open Graph, sitemaps, schema; reads Rank Math data |
| Redirects | 301/302 rules, 404 log |
| Forms | Contact forms and submissions — Contact Form 7 / Flamingo data model |
| Media, Image compression | The WordPress media library, image sizes, optimised uploads |
| Comments | Moderation, threading, spam protection |
| Shop | Products, orders, coupons, shipping, taxes — WooCommerce data model |
| Bookings | Services, staff, availability, appointments |

The Filament side
- One panel, one section per module, in the order the module declares.
- Post type resources come from one base resource; a module adds a form section through a container tag, not by editing the resource.
- The visual editor is a TinyMCE 6 field reading and writing WordPress content, blocks included.
- Roles and permissions are WordPress capabilities, edited on a roles screen; every module registers its own.
- Dark theme works as in any Filament panel.
Filament here is the admin only: the public site is rendered by a theme (Blade, or Vue on Inertia), or not at all.
License and pricing
kitloom is commercial software under the kitloom License: one license buys Kitloom for Filament — the core, every module, the visual editor and the themes — for one project ($149) or for every project you own or build for clients ($299), with twelve months of updates.
